From the very first day I cared for Mary at the Carmelite House, to her last day's on earth, there was something about her that drew me to her. Maybe it was her quick witt, her smile, or the way she would always remember and speak my name. Mary was the type of person that I would like to stuff in my pocket and carry home to care for. The hardest part of caring for people in a nursing home is when they die. The feeling is so lonely. Already, I miss going to her room to see her. One thing is for certain, I will never forget her, because I will carry her in my heart. Love and prayers to tbe family.
