Obituary of George Collier

It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Collier announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the age of 83. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Daphne (Lou Willcott), St. Alban’s, NL, Randy (Colleen), Upper Gullies, NL, Gary (Richelle), Toronto, ON, Amanda (Paul Staeben), St. John’s, NL & Dion (Lisa), St. Alban’s, NL; grandchildren: Jonathan, Joshua, Alicia, Amanda, Braiden, Amanda, Christopher, Chloe & Ava; great-granddaughter: Layla as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Pearl; brother: William Collier; parents: Leo & Agnes Collier. Funeral service on Tuesday July 24, 2018 at 2 pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s, with Father David Joy officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
