Obituary of Anne Collier

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Anne Collier announce her passing at the Dr. S. Beckley Health Centre, Grand Bank, NL on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the age of 88. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Marie Willcott, St. Alban’s, NL, Marcella (Bill Baker), Grand Bank, NL & Joan Collier, Toronto, ON; grandchildren: Rhoda (Brian McDonald), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, Susan (Bill Cluett), Lucan, ON, Lionel Benoit (Rachael), Ottawa, ON & Stewart Baker, Halifax, NS; great-grandchildren: Katie-Sue, Jackson, Liam & Joshua; step sisters: Mary Long, St. Alban’s, NL & Elizabeth (Elder Caines), Port au Choix, NL; step brothers: Sam Haggerty (Marie), St. Alban’s, NL, Richard Haggerty, St. Alban’s, NL & Harry Haggerty (Jean), St. Alban’s, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Patrick Collier; daughter: Shirley Collier; son in law: Rod Willcott; brother: Samuel Haggerty; parents: Leonard & Philomena Haggerty; adoptive parents: Elias & Susan Hoskins. Funeral service on Saturday July 28, 2018 at 10am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s, with Father John Agim officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
