It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pius John announce his passing at his residence in Conne River, NL, Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the age of 88. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Randy (Josephine), Ramea, NL, Howard (Patricia), Conne River, NL & Dwayne (Rhonda), Conne River, NL; grandchildren: Ross, Pamela, Melanie, Riley & Shelby Lynn; great-grandchildren: Harper & Rosalie; brothers: Ronald John (Ida), Conne River, NL, Edward John, Toronto, ON, Louis John (Loretta), Conne River, NL, Howard John (Marie), St. Alban’s, NL & Mike John (Melita), St. Alban’s, NL; sister: Catherine (Cass Benoit), Conne River, NL; brother in law: George Willcott, St. Alban’s, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Margaret John; daughter: Lisa John; brothers: Don Willcott, Alec John, William John & Gordon John; sisters: Myrtle Quann & Eileen Willcott; parents: Stephen & Mary John. Funeral service on Tuesday April 2, 2019 at 11am at St. Anne’s R. C. Church, Conne River, with Father Patrick Osuji officiating. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
