Obituary of Sheila Lane
Lane, Sheila Ann (nee Roberts), age 59. Passed peacefully away, after a long, courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, June 18, 2019at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, NL, surrounded by her loving family.
Sheila joins her fathers: Harry and Allan, and her father in law: Vernon, her grandmother: Maggie Roberts (“gram”) and sister in law: Marilyn in Heaven. She is survived by her husband: Barry, and their four sons: Blair (Pamela), Timothy (Melanie), Matthew (Debra), and Andrew (Shara), step daughter: Melanie (Don), 17 grandchildren: Dawson, Nathaniel, Drew, Ethan, Keegan, Brianna, Gabrielle, McKenzie, Noah, Addison, Grayson, Arabella, Micah, Porsha, Hudson, Ava, and Jackson, mother: Kathleen, mother in law: Melvina, brothers: Terry (Linda) and Stephen (Goldie), sister: Angela (Gary), step sisters: Shirley (Ron), Barbara (Scott), Linda (John) and Sharon, step brother: Raymond (Hoa Thi Nguyen), as well as her dear sisters in law and brothers in law: Gail (Jerry), Ross (Edwin), Dave, Lorne (Daphne), Glen, Debbie (Greg), along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially: Colleen and Dale, Yvonne and Dave
Many thanks to all the healthcare professionals who have worked with Sheila over the years, with a special thank you going out to the Hematology Department and the nurses of 4 north A, Health Sciences Centre for their tremendous care and genuine compassion.
Resting at Calvery Pentecostal Church, Twillingate, NL on Thursday from 7-9pm, Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm and Saturday 10-11am. Funeral service will be held on Saturday June 22, 2019 at 2 pm, Pastor Jeffery White officiating, interment to follow at Calvery Pentecostal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Calvery Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
