Obituary of Ross Pinksen
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ross Pinksen of Sop’s Arm, NL announce his passing at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, NL on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the age of 72. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Gertie; children: Neil (Debbie), Kelligrews, NL & Byron (Nancy), Lloydminster, AB; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers: John (Beatrice), Sop’s Arm, NL, Roland (Gertie), Sop’s Arm, NL, Wayne (Viola), Sop’s Arm, NL, Warrick (Valerie), Paradise, NL & Scott (Daphne), Sop’s Arm, NL; brother in law: Lester Reid (Barbara), North Harbour, NL; sister in law: Joan (Phil Gaulton), Deer Lake, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandson: CPL. Brian Pinksen; brother: Douglas; sisters: Ella Pinksen & Cecilia Reid; parents: Nathan & Laura Pinksen. Funeral service on Thursday November 28, 2019 at 2pm at Sop’s Arm Pentecostal Church with Pastor Tyrone Ball officiating. Interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Sop’s Arm. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
