It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elias Hoskins announce his passing at the Waterford Hospital, St. John’s, NL on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the age of 74. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Mary; children: Wade (Sherry), Paradise, NL, Rhonda (Frank Johnstone), Barrie, ON & Stephen (Julie), Halifax, NS; grandchildren: Kala (Barry), Victoria, Faith, Patrick & Mia; brothers: Edmund (Alimeta), St. Alban’s, NL, Michael (Theresa), St. Alban’s, NL & Joseph Jr. (Claire), Aylmer, QC; sisters: Rosalind Hayden, St. Alban’s, NL, Doreen Poole, Toronto, ON, Ann (Art Felix), Ottawa, ON & Marilyn Sutton (Lisa); sister in law: Anne Hoskins, Halifax, NS; as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers: Gerard & Kenneth; sister: Frances Dollimont; brother in law: Joe Hayden; parents: Joseph & Agnes Hoskins. Funeral service on Friday January 24, 2020 at 3pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s, with Father David Joy officiating. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
