It is with great sadness that the family of the late Reginald Farrell announce his passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the age of 96. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Theresa; children: Corsina (John Fewer), Marystown, NL, Dan (Susan), St. Alban’s. NL, Walter (Lucy), St. Alban’s, NL, Elizabeth (Eric Butler), St. John’s, NL, Christina (Calvin Hodder), Marystown, NL, Lucy (Owen Cox), St. Alban’s, NL & Roland (Mary), St. Alban’s, NL; step children: Verdun Strickland (Heather), Paradise, NL, Melissa (Tyson Drake), Conne River, NL & Tammy (Chad Stockley), Bishop’s Falls, NL; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife: Mary; brothers: Luke, Lawrence, Isadore & Austin; sisters: Annie May, Christina, Corsina, Elizabeth & Mercedes. Funeral service on Tuesday January 28, 2020 at 3pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s, with Father David Joy officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
