Obituary of Norman Sutton
Please share a memory of Norman to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norman Chesley Sutton of Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL announce his peaceful passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Sunday March 28, 2021 at the wonderful age of 92. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Darren (Julie), Fort McMurray, AB & Dean, Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL; grandchildren: Jayden & Karlee; sister: Joyce, Lethbridge, AB, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Florence; son: Dennis; brothers: George, Jeremiah (Jerry), John, Douglas; sisters: Elizabeth (Betty), Mary & Caroline. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Norman. He loved spending time singing hymns, would swiftly pick up and whistle when he could not remember the words, and playing his accordion loud for all to hear. He loved to have a yarn with everyone about stories of being in the woods and having the first car in the bay. We would like to send a special thank you niece Dora and nephew Cecil for all that you have done for dad in the last several years. We cannot thank you enough. Thank you to caregivers: Joy, Loretta, Brenda & Kayla for your care and compassion. Funeral service on Wednesday March 31, 2021 at 2pm at Christ Anglican Church Milltown with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment at Christ Anglican Cemetery, Milltown. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
