It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edith Collier announce her passing at her residence, St. Alban’s, NL on Sunday June 27, 2021 at the age of 97. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Bill (Shirley), St. John’s, NL, Ellen (Dave Nugent), St. Alban’s, NL, Albert (Linda), St. Alban’s, NL, Adonis (Sheila), Morinville, AB, Betty (Barry Forsyth), Ottawa, ON, Marian (Jim Strickland), St. Alban’s, NL, Anne (Blair Zink), Bridgewater, NS, Damien (Della), St. Alban’s, NL, K(Niki), St. Alban’s, NL & Melvin (Rona), Ottawa, ON; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister: Nellie Collier, St. Alban’s, NL; as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Thomas; daughter: Sylvia Collier; grandchildren: Corey Collier & Bryan Collier; great-grandson: Jaydon Strickland; sisters: Mary Collier & Gertrude Farrell; brothers: Sandy, William & Albert. The funeral service will be held at a date and time to be announced. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
