It is with great sadness that the family of the late Genevieve Smith announce her passing at her residence in St. Alban’s, NL, on Sunday April 30, 2023 at the age of 77. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband: Gerard Smith; son: Duane Smith, St. Alban’s, NL; sisters: Audrey MacDonald, Marystown, NL, Helena (Efford Young), St. Alban’s, NL, Anita (Fred Hoskins), St. Alban’s, NL; brothers: Roger MacDonald (Beatrice), Calgary, AB, Keith (Mollie), St. Alban’s, NL, as well as a large circle of Nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters: Margaret (John Robert Brushett), Elizabeth (William Willcott), Joan (Calvin Tremblett); brothers: Gerald Jr. MacDonald, Claude MacDonald; parents: Gerald & Elizabeth MacDonald. Funeral Mass on Monday May 8, 2023 at 2pm at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, St. Alban’s, NL with Father Patrick Osuji officiating. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
