It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ellen Collier. She passed peacefully away on Friday April 5, 2024 at the age of 77, at the family home surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sisters: Mary Nugent, St. Alban’s, NL, Susan (Dan Farrell), St. Alban’s, NL, Magdalen (James Oxford), Mount Pearl, NL, Bernice (Leonard Long), Ottawa, ON & Martina (Gerard Farrell), St. Alban’s, NL; brothers: Aloysius Collier (Sheila), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL & Chris Collier (Donna), Massey Drive, NL as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother: Roderick Collier; parents: Frederick & Agnes Collier; brother in law: Ronald Nugent, Funeral service on Thursday April 11, 2024 at 2pm at Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home St. Alban’s, with Father Tom Duffenais officiating. Interment at the R. C. Cemetery, St. Alban’s. As per Ellen's request the funeral service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bay d'Espoir Cancer Benefit. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
