It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eli Organ announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls Windsor, NL on Saturday September 12, 2015 at the age of 91. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Melita Bazinet, Abbottsford, BC, Mary (Calvin Sutton), St. Alban's, NL, Marjorie Hoskins, St. Alban's, NL, Pius (Cindy), Fredericton, NB, Don (Debbie), New Castle, ON, Greard (Mary), Benoit's Cove, NL, Christine (Ronald Hayman), Ramea, NL, Lucy Organ, St. Alban's, NL, Cecilia (Gerard Benoit), Conne River, NL, Sam (Bitzie), Stephenville, NL, Eli Jr. (Loretta), Ramea, NL, Glen, St. Alban's, NL & Calvin (Tammy), St. John's, NL; 27 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Veronica; children: Infant daughter, John & Gord; brothers: Edgar, Alphonsus & Thomas; sisters: Agnes Hoskins, Sarah Howse, Florence Kelly, Mary Farrell & Julia Organ; parents: Michael & Elizabeth Organ; sons in law: Louis Bazinet & Angus Hoskins. The funeral service was held on Wednesday September 16, 2015 at 2 pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's, with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
