It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Collier announce her passing at Hamilton General Hospital, Hamilton, ON on Wednesday October 14, 2015 at the age of 69. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter: Theresa (Bernie Saunders), Mount Pearl, NL; devoted partner: Joseph Lewis, Dundas, ON; grandchildren: Grant Saunders & Jasmine Saunders; stepmother: Mary Bridget Caines; sisters: Helen Howse, St. Alban's, NL, Theresa (John Fex), Ottawa, ON, Bernadette (Louis Collier), Fort McMurray, AB, Elizabeth Caines, Calgary, AB, Sylvia (Thomas Kennedy), Holyrood, NL, Olive (Mike Hughson), MacKenzie, BC, Anne Marie (Kim Komar), Calgary, AB, Lucy (Jeffrey Willcott), St. Alban's, NL, Melvina (Roger Willcott), Paradise, NL, Geraldine (Rodney Willcott), St. Joseph's Cove, NL; brothers: Ross Caines, Calgary, AB, Gary Caines (Jennifer), Red Deer, AB, Stephen Caines (Melanie), Calgary, AB; special friends: Maria Portolesi Luci, Dundas, ON, Brianna Baron, Holyrood, NL. as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Harold; sister: Clara Caines; parents: Joseph & Evangeline Caines. The funeral service was held on Wednesday October 21, 2015 at 2 pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
