It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Kendall of Morrisville, NL announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the age of 87. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Joan; children: Elizabeth (Gilbert Hollett), Morrisville, NL, Karen (Edward Hoskins), Labrador City, NL, Katherine (Jerry Collier), St. Alban's, NL, Ronald (Joan), Labrador City, NL, Helena (Chris Collier), St. Alban's, NL, Colin (Mila), Edmonton, AB, Rodney (Yvette), Churchill Falls, NL, Pamela Kendall (Glenn Jodolin), Kingston, ON, Dorinda (Bill Hildreth), Emburn, ON, Paula (Gord Kearley), Morrisville, NL & Trina (Joe Kearley), St. Veronica's, NL; 23 grandchildren: 9 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter: Deborah Way; son: Jimmy; great grandson: Joey Collier; parents: James & Mary Kendall; brothers: Gordon, Harold, James, Allan & Edgar; sisters: Doris Kendall, Winnie Kendall, Irene Kendall, Myrtle Strickland & Carrie Kendall. The funeral service was held on Thursday December 22, 2016 at 2 pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's, with Father Edward Brophy and Rev. Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
