It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth McDonald announce her passing at her Residence, St. Alban's, NL on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the age of 95. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Mildred McDonald, St. Alban's, NL, Alimeta (Edmund Hoskins), St. Alban's, NL, William J. McDonald (Jane), Head of Bay d'Espoir, NL, Michael McDonald (Harriett), St. Alban's, NL, Marian Felix, St. Alban's, NL, Joan McDonald, Ottawa, ON, Fabian McDonald, St. Alban's, NL, Ann (Anthony Drew), St. Alban's, NL, Wayne McDonald, St. Alban's, NL & Sylvia McDonald, Buckingham, QC; 28 grandchildren: 31 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Sandy; son: Gerald McDonald; granddaughter: Louise Amirault; sisters: Sally, Evangeline, Margaret & Marie; brother: Anthony Kearley ; son in law: Chesley McDonald. Funeral service on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's, with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
