It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gertrude Hoskins announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Facility, Stephenville Crossing on Friday December 26, 2014 at the age of 92. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Joyce (Clarence Sutton), St. Alban's, NL, Ann Hoskins, Corner Brook, NL, Bert (Maura), Ottawa, ON & Theresa (Wayne Chubb), St. George's, NL; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren: sister: Mary Snook, St Alban's, NL; brother: john Henry Morris, St. Alban's, NL. She was predeceased by her husband: Ronald; sister: Ann Mouland; brothers: Joseph Morris, Augustine Morris & Thomas Morris. The funeral service was held at St. Ignatieff R. C. Parish, St. Alban's on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at 11am with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the R. C. Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
